The first group of images were photographed with the idea in mind of stripping them together as the client had ordered the changes to the design for the patterned material of the carry bag to go all the way around. As the sample had not yet arrived from the manufacturer and the image was needed for a trade show, this compromise was reached.
The second image of the mug had to be repaired 'in camera' as the handle broken off completetly. In the group the missing handle could be hidden but in the single shot it had to replaced, the image of the handle had to be carefully photographed from another mug of the same colour and at the exact same angle as the mug in order for it to look authentic.

The third group of images was photographed and manipulated to show how the product is shown with the packaging - the celophane cover did not show the product well but could not be removed as there was only one sample box. The images were photographed as two images(the innards and outers, and in the same position) and then added together in the digital darkroom. The celophane was removed and a drop shadow added to the box to add authenticity.
